About us
Who We Are And Our Purpose
From eye care to hearing aid support, we’ve been serving since the 1990s.
Driven by faith, shaped by service. Our journey to empower vulnerable communities continues.
Founded in the 1990s, EMAT (Emergency Medical Aid Trust) began with a mission to deliver free medical aid to underserved communities in Pakistan. The charity made its mark through high impact cataract operations and disaster relief during the 2010 floods. Over the years, EMAT built a hospital in Liaquatpur, providing lasting infrastructure and generating ongoing rental income.
What We Strive For
EMAT exists to deliver essential services — starting with hearing care — to vulnerable children in Pakistan. We partner with trusted organisations to ensure every child has the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive with dignity.
To build a world where vulnerable children are empowered with the dignity, tools, and support they need to shape brighter, sustainable futures for themselves and their communities.
