Overview
In Pakistan, thousands of children suffer from undiagnosed hearing loss. Without early assessment, these children are unable to speak clearly, succeed in school, or develop socially — trapping them in a cycle of isolation and disadvantage.
EMAT, in partnership with APPS UK Foundation, is launching a dedicated hearing programme across Pakistan to provide professional, low-cost hearing assessments for children in need. These tests are conducted by qualified local audiologists in controlled environments, ensuring accurate diagnosis and appropriate next steps.
Why It Matters
Hearing loss isn’t always visible, but its impact is lifelong. When caught early, a simple assessment can change a child’s future, helping them access education, speech therapy, and essential support.
Without diagnosis, children may never fully integrate into society, placing greater strain on families and communities. Your support helps prevent that.
